Eric J. Mausner, Esq.

Eric is a third-generation lawyer and has long held a great interest in the law, government, and public service, which is reflected in his background and experience. Prior to founding Mausner Group Injury Lawyers PLLC, Eric gained invaluable civil litigation experience working for law firms that handle various kinds of personal injury cases and mass torts from pre-litigation through litigation including mediation, trial, and settlement.

Eric has managed a large volume of mass tort litigation, handling cases across major litigations including Roundup, Talc, Abilify, Xarelto, testosterone replacement therapy, GranuFlo, Zantac, Camp Lejeune, Hernia Mesh, Transvaginal Mesh, Suboxone, and 3M Earplugs, among others. His mass tort work spans intake, marketing, case management, prosecution, and settlement, in both federal and state courts nationwide.

Before becoming a personal injury attorney, Eric served as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted thousands of violent crimes, including attempted homicides, robberies, burglaries, sex crimes, narcotics trafficking, and DUIs. As a prosecutor, Eric tried numerous jury trials gaining extensive litigation and courtroom experience. He previously worked in both the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.

Having served the community extensively for over a decade, Eric knows firsthand the importance of fighting for individuals and is ready to represent people injured due to the negligence of others.

Eric earned his B.A. in political science and a minor in classical humanities from The George Washington University and his J.D. from New York Law School. He lives in Miami, Florida, and is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C., as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of New York, and the District of New Jersey.
